Corey Clifford

Commercial Manager

Commercial Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and member of CPA Australia. Corey has over 20 years’ experience in accounting, finance and contracts. Corey has worked in the mining industry for the last 13 years with a strong focus on underground coal mining.
Corey has worked for both large mining houses in underground and open cut and also in contracting service companies. Corey is responsible for all Commercial aspects of the PIMS Group operations.

Simon Knobloch

QLD Operations Manager

Mechanical Engineering Certification with 36 years’ experience in Heavy Engineering & Mining Operational Roles.
Simon started his career in the Mining industry as a Mechanical Fitter and then progressed through Engineering & Operational roles into Management.
He has held Management positions with Mine Operators and Contractors across QLD & NSW.
These roles include Contracts Manager Mining & Engineering , Asset Manager (Plant Equipment) , Outbye Superintendent , Outbye Coordinator , Project Manager Mining & Engineering QLD/NSW , Project Manager Longwall Moves and Workshop Manager.
Simon’s current role as Qld Operations Manager is to manage the PIMS Group Queensland Operations and work in conjunction with the site Project Teams.
Contribute to business development activities and collaborate with peers during pre-tender and tender reviews.

Stu Sulter

NSW Operations Manager

Stu has a career in the coal industry spanning 42 years. He has held many Senior Management roles for both mine operators and contractors alike, including Chief Operating Officer, Mine General Manager, Operations Manager, Production manager and Undermanager In Charge.
Stu’s strong operational and contract management background has influenced the growth within the New South Wales Business Unit.

The payroll and accounts team are based at our Head Office in Mackay, Queensland. With a collective 40 years experience in Accounts and Payroll, the team holds Bachelor degrees combined with vast experience in Financial and Management Accounting, plus a large volume of Payroll processing.

The group consists of Mackay locals as well as New South Welshmen and women who've relocated to the sunshine state.

Our Human Resource departments are in both Queensland and New South Wales. Providing local recruitment and onboarding support to the districts of our current projects. Consisting of team members who have been with PIMS for 2 - 8 years. With a variety of background experience from accounts, sales and graphic design, they come together providing over 30 years experience with client and employee support.

The Moranbah engineering workshop has been operating since 2012, and run by one of the PIMS Directors, Phil Harms. Phil lived in Moranbah and started the business to stay in town and contribute locally.  The collaborative team of experienced diesel fitters, boiler makers and motor mechanics are Mackay and Moranbah locals, with a collective 100 years experience.
