Corey Clifford
Commercial Manager
Commercial Manager with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and member of CPA Australia. Corey has over 20 years’ experience in accounting, finance and contracts. Corey has worked in the mining industry for the last 13 years with a strong focus on underground coal mining.
Corey has worked for both large mining houses in underground and open cut and also in contracting service companies. Corey is responsible for all Commercial aspects of the PIMS Group operations.
Simon Knobloch
Operations Manager
Mechanical Engineering Certification with 36 years’ experience in Heavy Engineering & Mining Operational Roles.
Simon started his career in the Mining industry as a Mechanical Fitter and then progressed through Engineering & Operational roles into Management.
He has held Management positions with Mine Operators and Contractors across Queensland & New South Wales.
These roles include Contracts Manager Mining & Engineering , Asset Manager (Plant Equipment) , Outbye Superintendent , Outbye Coordinator , Project Manager Mining & Engineering QLD/NSW , Project Manager Longwall Moves and Workshop Manager.
Simon’s current role as Operations Manager is to manage the PIMS Group Operations across Queensland and New South Wales, working in conjunction with the site Project Teams, contributing to business development activities and collaborating with peers during pre-tender and tender reviews.
Raegan Tillitzki
NSW Project Manager
NSW Project Manager with a Diploma of Project Management and Certificate IV in Underground Coal Operations. Raegan brings a variety of experience from over 10 years in the coal industry. Raegan started in mining as an underground coal operator, developing into management roles, and becoming an owner/director of a civil and mining labour hire company, spanning from Queensland to Victoria.
As of recent he has managed large scale Geotechnical mining subsidence projects within the industry. Raegan brings a wholistic and modern approach to this New South Wales position and is responsible for numerous projects throughout the state.
The group consists of Mackay locals as well as New South Welshmen and women who've relocated to the sunshine state.
The Moranbah engineering workshop has been operating since 2012, and run by one of the PIMS Directors, Phil Harms. Phil lived in Moranbah and started the business to stay in town and contribute locally. The collaborative team of experienced diesel fitters, boiler makers and motor mechanics are Mackay and Moranbah locals, with a collective 100 years experience.
